How to improve your credit score yourself! 1/2

In this article we are going to give you 10 advices on how you can repair your credit, all by yourself. We are going to split this article in two parts, so that it will be easier to read. We have gathered all this information so that it will help you repair your credit. Here is the top of the things you can do to improve your credit:

1. Just stop using your current credit cards. If you have a bad credit right now you should stop using credit cards, because every time you will buy something using a credit card, you will add more and more debt, it’s better if you put your credit cards away for the moment until you will get more control over your current financial situation.

2. The number two thing that you can do about it, is to get a copy of your credit report. You must check your current credit report, and if you see any incorrect information you can ask it to be removed. It happens from time to time that people or even computers make mistakes, and this mistake can cost you a lot of money, so if you see something that you consider not fair, or it doesnt belong to your credit report, you can ask it to be removed. Also before starting doing something about your current credit score you must first know exactly what is the starting point. You can get a credit report from the three major credit bureaus, and after that you will get a lot of useful information that is going to help you in your quest for a better credit.

3. The 3rd step is to clean up your current credit report.

You can do the cleaning of your credit report, by examining it well, and see if it contains any innacurate information there. Once you’ve spot some errors, just ask and it will be removed.

4. Try to start paying all your bills that are currently left behind. You must know that almost 35% of your current credit score is made out of your current payment history. It’s really important to stay up to date with all your payments, in order to have a good credit.

5. So as long as you have this credit repair mode turned on, and you are doing everything you can to improve your current credit rating you shouldnt do any loan application, because it’s more likely that you will get turned down by the lenders, and this way you will only be able to make your current credit score go down. You should try to live without any loans for a couple of months until you manage to improve your credit.
