Nowadays too many Americans, due to the bad habits of expenditure or any unhappy event occurred in their family life, could get a debt that they cannot pay back to their creditors. Very often the creditors, in order to get the money that they had lend to the consumers, ask for assistance to the so-called debt collection agencies.
It is quite well for a creditor, who wants back his lend money, to call upon the collecting office of debt collection. It is absolutely legal to ask the person borrowed to pay the money back, but when all this becomes aggressive, it is not well at all.
We all know that in the real life the debt collection could be accomplished by threats on various forms shouts inclusively on the telephone. Naturally, this kind of pressure against the consumer is not legal.
This is why the consumer must know that, even in a bad financial position being in the debt, he has rights and there are very clear laws about the manner the creditors could try to make a debt collection, and certainly not by harassing the consumer
