Nowaday too many americans, due to bad spending habit or any unhappy event occurred in their family life, get an unbearelly debt that they cannot pay back to their creditors. Very often the creditors ask for help, in collecting debts from consumers which don’t pay on time their debt, to the so called debt collection agencies.
It’s quit ok for a creditor, who wants his lendded money back, to appeal to debt collection office. The real problem is what are the methods the debt collection agent understand to use for persuading the consumer to pay back the borrowed money to creditor. It is absolutely legal to ask borrowed person to pay the money back, but when all this becomes aggresive, it’s not ok at all.
We all know that in real life the debt collection could be completed by threats on different forms inclusively screams on the phone. Of course, this kind of pressure against the consumer is not legal.
That’s why the consumer must understand that, even in a bad financial situation being in debt, has rights and that there are very clear laws about the way the creditors could attempt to make a debt collection, and definitely not by harassing the consumer
